Expectation.
Because of it, we can smile or cry. We smile if our situation is better than the expectation. We cry if our target is under expectation. Although we have been predicted that the situation will be like that, but our heart will be taken aback too. We not ready hear bad news or see something which not match with our hope. So, prepare yourself to always ready with all condition. Bad or good. Life has so much surprise for us. Sometimes, we cry because of happiness but a few minutes later we cry because of sadness.
Whatever our life today, sad or happy, it is our destiny. It is in a register before Allah bring it into being. Accept it, and move on, :)
No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being - indeed that, for Allah , is easy - In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful. (Q.S Al-Hadid: 22-23)
